Atlus announced during their NicoNIco Live stream broadcast that the Persona 5 The Animation: The Day Breakers anime will begin airing in Japan starting September 3, 2016.
The above is the schedule for Persona 5 The Animation: The Day Breakers:
- Tokyo MX: Sept 3 at 7:00pm~7:55pm
- Gunma TV: Sept 3 at 9:00pm~9:55pm
- Tochigi TV: Sept 4 at 7:00pm~7:55pm
- BS11: Sept 5 at 10:00pm~10:55pm
A-1 Pictures is handling the upcoming anime, a prologue story that will feature an original story that is linked to a certain sub-episode in Persona 5. The original characters set to appear in the anime will also appear in the game.
