The 1.4 Persona 5: The Phantom X update arrives on August 21, 2025, and it includes the new Phantom Idol bartender character Yumi “Phoebe” Shiina and her Persona Urania. Her Synergy Story will also update as a result, so we can continue to learn about her background.

Yumi Shiina worked at the Shibuya Underground Bar in Persona 5: The Phantom X ahead of her debut as the playable character Phoebe. We could stop by at night to visit her. Doing so also meant we’d get various drink mixing skills. As part of our initial introduction, we needed to help her with a stalker by changing his heart in a Mementos Request. She’s a Navigator supporter and five-star character. Her banner and Synergy both will appear after the update.

Here’s her latest teaser trailer, which Atlus only shared on social media. It highlights her role as a bartender in Persona 5: The Phantom X before also teasing her role as a Phantom Idol.

We also know some of the other features arriving after this update. We’ll be able to start helping and interacting with Ayaka Sakai in her Synergy Story. Metro of Desire will involve more routes to pursue. We can challenge ourselves with the Trial of Thorns. We will also be able to head into the Mindscape to improve character’s capabilities.

Here is the full 1.4 Persona 5: The Phantom X stream on YouTube:

The last additions were Persona 5 heroine Makoto “Queen” Niijima and the 75-year-old Phantom Idol Chizuko “Vino” Nagao.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is available on the PC and mobile devices, and Navigator Yumi “Phoebe” Shiina will be added in the 1.4 update on August 21, 2025.
