Since this is a MMO you don’t have to face battles alone. Meet up with other players at school or pester them with messages to party via the in game communication system. Someone annoying you? Put them on your blacklist. Persona Mobile Online also has an item trading system.
Combat utilizes the one more turn system introduced in Persona 3. Hit an enemy’s weakness and you knock it down. Knock all the enemies over to hit the group with an all out attack. Looks like Persona Mobile Online borrows more than the combat system. Those shadow designs are pretty familiar too.
Persona Mobile Online doesn’t exactly have Social Links. Access to more powerful personae is restricted by Arcana Points which are obtained by linking up with players of a different arcana. Once you have enough Arcana Points head to the Velvet Room for new personae. This Persona game also has a crafting system where armor can be enhanced and accessories made. Not too shabby for a mobile phone MMO and a 525 yen ($5) monthly fee.
