Ahead of gamescom 2026 and the Opening Night Live presentation Google Play and Apple App Store product pages for the Android and iOS versions of Petit Planet opened for pre-registration ahead of the game’s Winter 2026 launch window. It was already possible to pre-register for the game via your HoYoVerse account on the official site. A final beta is also on the way.
Petit Planet is an Animal Crossing sort of life sim game for the PC and mobile devices. In it, players get a planet that they get to shape to their liking, also assisting different neighbors who come to visit and live there. There are also socialization options, such as being able to gather with others for some light minigames and activities. Due to HoYoVerse holding multiple betas ahead of launch, we have an idea of how the gameplay loop will work and what it will be like to socialize, gather, farm, fish, and decorate in the game.
This update arrived as HoYoVerse prepared to show the game off at gamescom 2026. It will be part of a booth that also includes released games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail and unreleased ones like Honkai: Nexus Anima.
