As expected, HoYoVerse used its Petit Planet Pre-Launch Special Program to announce the December 4, 2026 release date. Preloading begins a few days earlier on December 1, 2026. The three launch platforms remain the PC, Android devices, and Apple iOS ones. There’s also a new trailer to see, but the Pre-Launch Special Program itself isn’t archived on the official YouTube account.
The Petit Planet trailer begins by showing a player avatar beneath a Luca Arbor with some major NPC characters who will serve as neighbors. We then see more traditional gameplay like a messaging system, resource gathering, decorating an outdoor space, getting dressed in costumes, getting ingredients and cooking a meal, and finally interacting with other player characters.
You can watch the full Petit Planet release date trailer below.
There are also two more whimsical shorts online. Both are designed to be morning stretch style videos with characters who can move to our planets. The first featured Elsasani, a rabbit-like character who works for Loomi Corp and is one of the NPCs we initially meet after starting the game.
The second one stars Medowlyn. She’s a sheep who designs plushies.
The Petit Planet release date is December 4, 2026, and we’ll see it on the PC and Android and iOS mobile devices.
