Phantasy Star 20th Anniversary Collection heading to the PS2

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

The Sega Ages series keeps getting better and better. Just last week Monster World Collection was released and later this year Sega is releasing Phantasy Star 20th Anniversary Collection. Unlike the Game Boy Advance Phantasy Star Collection, the PS2 release has Phantasy Star IV. The collection with all four classic Phantasy Star titles (not the Sega Ages remakes) is scheduled to come out in summer 2007. A long way back Conspiracy Entertainment was supposed to localize the Phantasy Star remakes (I, II and IV) , but plans for that were scrapped a long time ago. It looks like the only hope for playing Phantasy Star IV is the Wii’s virtual console, but that’s probably going to be a while from now.
