The Personal Shop in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will function similarly to a marketplace. This feature will allow players to sell items and obtain the N-Meseta currency through their sales. However, not all items will be available to sell through the Personal Shop. Additionally, players will be able to use this function to sell tradeable items to other players.
The Personal Shop feature was outlined through the official Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis website. This blog post provided a more in-depth look at how the Personal Shop will function in the upcoming MMORPG. When making transactions, players will want to keep in mind that 10% of their selling price will be taken as a commission fee.
Additionally, the seller’s name will be visible and available to search for through the Personal Shop feature. The official blog post states that this system has been created to avoid RMT (real money transaction) purchases in the game. It also mentions that the team will continue to monitor how this function is used among players, and that countermeasures may appear.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will feature upgraded graphics and a photo mode. The updated graphics include a complete texture overhaul, which includes character models.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will release for the Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2021.
