The delayed Android version of Phantasy Star Online 2 called PSO2es is about to start its closed beta test. Players selected to join received e-mails indicating the Phantasy Star Online 2es closed beta will start on August 29 . The game will be playable between 16:00 to 21:00 and again on August 31 at 11:00 through September 1 at 22:00.

Phantasy Star Online 2es players will be able to raise any class up to level 20 and get three freebies for playing – a Sato hat accessory, Triboost +50%, and a 500 Fun ticket.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is live on PlayStation Vita and PC. Sega announced they will localize the game for North America, but the English version (much like the Android release) has been bumped back too.
