Phantasy Star Portable 2 Ties Up With Western Gaming Mags

The Famitsu shield won’t be in the Western version of Phantasy Star Portable 2, but Sega isn’t cutting items tied to video game magazines out of the game. Instead, Sega of America is replacing them with, probably more relevant, Western magazines.

A representative from Sega wouldn’t say which magazines, though. We know the list includes both North American and European publications. So, I’m imagining a Game Informer shield and an Edge sword.

I also asked about the items from Valkyria Chronicles II – school uniforms, a spear, shield, Gallian rifle, and Lancer. These items also are confirmed for the Western version of Phantasy Star Portable 2.
