5pb. announced that it is bringing the mass multiplayer battle action beat ‘em up Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive to Nintendo Switch via eShop on December 7, 2017.

The Nintendo Switch version of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive will go for 1,000 yen (plus tax), $9.99 USD, and 7.99€. The game is a port of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive on PS4 but will have some portions that differ from it. It’ll also support TV Mode, Tabletop Mode, and Handheld Mode on the Switch.

The Nintendo Switch version will come with all DLCs including additional characters Kurisu Makise and Frau Koujiro, additional BGM DLC, and Kemo Mimi Costume Pack that are available for separate purchase on other devices.

The game balance has been adjusted for skill strengths and enemy positioning. Alternate routes from the PS4 version has been ommited in order to avoid over-complication.

 

Online multiplayer and the Arcade Mode’s Online Ranking will be implemented via free update after Nintendo launches the Switch online service that is planned for 2018.

 

As for language options, it has Japanese voicing and will support the following languages for text: Japanese, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Chinese (simplified), Russian.
