Capcom announced during its TGS 2025 Online Program that there will be a free update released for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy that adds Gallery and Story Modes, lets you jump to parts of each episodes, and go with different voice and text settings instead of those being tied together. Everything will appear in a patch on November 19, 2025. The update applies to all games in the collection, which are Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations.
Essentially, some of the new features bring it up to the same level as other more recent compilations, like Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy and Ace Attorney Investigations Collection. When you go through the cases, you can choose a Story Mode difficulty that makes the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy games basically play themselves so you can enjoy them more like a visual novel and prioritize reading along. The Gallery Mode includes a jukebox and ability to see concept art.
Some of the other elements added are quality of life adjustments. The episode jump is one of them, since it lets you go to a specific episode and choose which part you start at. The Testimony Page functionality, which lets you go back and forth through statements made on the stand, are another. So is the option that separates voice and text options, so someone could use Japanese voice acting with English or the new Latin American Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese subtitle options.
