Limited Run Games has announced that they are taking pre-orders for the Limited Run Panzer Dragoon: Remake Physical Edition. These pre-orders began last night and will remain open for four weeks.
The Physical Edition is listed at the price of $39.99 and will contain interior art and a full-color booklet. Limited Run Games is also offering a “Classic Edition” of the game for $59.99 that will ship with an “officially licensed Sega Saturn branded long box jewel-case,” the Panzer Dragoon Remake in a standard PlayStation 4 case, and a full-color instruction booklet. The cover for the PlayStation 4 case will be reversible and feature art reminiscent of the original Saturn release on the other side.
Limited Run Games announced Limited Collector’s Editions of the game’s soundtrack, too. This comes in three different versions. There will be a CD in a jewel case that is accompanied by liner notes for $14.99 and a 2-LP vinyl release for $39.99. There will also be a Signed Limited Edition that comes with a poster signed by the game’s composer, Saori Kobayashi.
The Nintendo Switch version of the Panzer Dragoon Remake had an orchestrated version of the original Panzer Dragoon soundtrack patched-in after release. It was also composed by Saori Kobayashi.
The Limited Run Physical Edition of the Panzer Dragoon: Remake will be available for PlayStation 4 in limited quantities. It releases on December 18, 2020 alongside the Classic Edition and the collectible soundtracks.
Panzer Dragoon: Remake is now available for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia.
