It’s been confirmed via the Nintendo eShop in Japan that Picross 2 will release for Switch next week for 900 yen, and we can expect to see it release worldwide on the same date.
While the release date for the West hasn’t been confirmed, the listing shows available languages of Japanese, English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. The game comes with a new “Clip Picross” mode where you collect pieces to make a big picture. There are over 100 problems that allow you to advance in Picross Mode.
New Picross and Mega Picross modes have been added, with over 300 problems for you to solve. You’ll also get to solve puzzles with another player in the new sharing feature that allows players to work together or compete to see who can fill the most cells.
Picross S2 releases for Nintendo Switch on August 2, 2018.
