Sanrio, Pingu BV, and Taito announced a collection of four Pingu x Tuxedo Sam plush toys, with the penguin stuffed animals debuting in “late” November 2025. They’ll be prizes in Japanese arcades. It’s unknown if we could also see them worldwide, though sometimes places like Crunchyroll offers them in the US later.
The original reveal of this collection confirmed three characters are part of it, and those same three are all present here. There are two versions of Tuxedo Sam stuffed animals. A navy blue one will be holding Pingu’s face and a sky blue one will hold Pinga. The Pingu and Pinga plush each are wearing hats based on the Sanrio mascot’s sailor cap and will be holding the Sanrio penguin’s face.

This is the second collection of Pingu x Tuxedo Sam merchandise, as Taito previously released other items based on the Sanrio and cartoon penguins in arcades in 2025. Those involved a pair of pillows with the animals on them. We saw those debut in August 2025.
The new Pingu x Tuxedo Sam plush will debut in Japanese arcades in November 2025, and we’ll have to wait and see if we see the stuffed penguins show up everywhere eventually.
