Gust revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine that Plachta from Atelier Sophie The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, will join Musou Stars as one of its many Koei Tecmo characters. [Thanks, Hachima.]

In Musou Stars, Sophie uses a variety of weapons, such as the Leherun and Donor Stones, which were created with alchemy. She’s also able to throw bombs called “Flams” and also “Uni” at enemies.

Additionally, the magazine had more to share on “Hero Skills” that each character can use in battle. In combat, you’ll have your playable character, along with four non-playable characters called “Members” for a total of five characters in a party.

Members are the ones that are able to use special powers called Hero Skills, and they come in three varieties. There are plenty of Hero Skills that are based on the characteristics of each character.

For example:

  • Sophie “Alchemy”: Changes items scattered around the battlefield into other items.
  • Plachta “Glowless”: Nearby allies won’t get affected by debuffs.
  • Zhao Yun “Storm Rush”: Goes after any enemies knocked back by the player.

Musou Stars releases in Japan in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
