Plants vs Zombies 3 is in development for mobile devices, and people with Android devices can immediately begin playing a free pre-alpha build. It is free-to-play via Google Play and has no microtransactions. but potential players should know going in that progress will be reset and wiped as changes are made during development.

EA explained what people will need to know about Plants vs Zombies 3’s early days on its official website. The pre-alpha is to help get combat feature feedback during the course of its development. Not everyone will be able to get it, as EA will be restricting downloads. It will include content from Plants vs Zombies 2, the previous mobile game. Also, you must always be connected to the internet to play. As for gameplay, people will still be placing plants in yards to prevent different sorts of zombies from storming houses.

Plants vs Zombies 3 is in development for Android and Apple iOS devices ahead of a worldwide release. A device with Galaxy S7 specs or higher running Marshmallow is recommended for the pre-alpha.
