Platinum Games Working On A "Big Multiplayer Title"

Vanquish, Platinum Games’ take on the third person shooter genre, will slide into stores in just a few weeks. While Vanquish does not have multiplayer mode, that feature is a core component of a future game.

"We haven’t officially announced it yet, but we have a big multiplayer title that we’re working on right now," Atsushi Inaba said during a Vanquish interview with NowGamer. "There are many different projects running internally, but please look out for the announcement."

Platinum Games dabbled with a multiplayer mode for Infinite Space, which had two player ship battles. Curious to see what the genre will be of their "big multiplayer" title.
