Sole is about being the only source of light in a shadowy world, with players using their luminous powers to bring the world back to life and existence with their glow.
Inspired by games like Flower and The Unfinished Swan, Sole has the player painting the world with light, dispatching shadows with their glow. As they move through the environment and bring light back to these places, their hidden histories will be revealed, telling a wordless story using the uncovered environments and objects they find.
Sole is built around the idea of fumbling in the dark and self-discovery, weaving a narrative around finding out about one’s self one tiny, illuminated idea at a time.
Sole is currently in development, with a projected release coming this year.
