PlayStation 3s With Bigger, Maybe Badder, Hard Drives Coming Next Month

Two PlayStation 3s consoles with bigger hard drives will be available in North America this fall. A 160GB slim PS3 will retail for $299.99, the same price as the current 120GB model. The 160GB unit is shipping to retailers now.

Need more hard drive space? Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation Move hardware bundle includes a slim PlayStation 3 with a 320GB hard drive for $399.99.

Both high capacity PS3s made their debut in Japan last month, along with a white slim PS3. So far, Sony has not announced that color for any other region.
