People accepted into the PlayStation 4 firmware 4.0 beta will be notified by Sony via email. This letter will tell them how to download the beta over the internet and get their systems set up with it. However, only people 18 and older with Master Account access will be able to actually participate.

The PlayStation 4 is immediately available. The PlayStation 4 firmware 4.0 beta will arrive in early August 2016.
