At E3 2017, Sony announced the PlayLink line of PlayStation 4 games. These are essentially party games for the PlayStation 4 that use smartphones and smart devices as controllers, just like the Jackbox Party Pack series. That’s You!, the first game, was released back in July 2017 and has been free for PlayStation Plus members since as a means of temporarily giving more people a chance to try. Now, we know when Frantics, Hidden Agenda, Knowledge is Power, and SingStar Celebration, the other four in the series, will be released.
Hidden Agenda, Knowledge is Power, and SingStar Celebration will all debut on October 24, 2017. Hidden Agenda is an adventure game from Supermassive Games along the lines of Until Dawn or Heavy Rain, where a group votes on what actions detective Becky Marney and district attorney Felicity Graves take during a serial killer investigation. The action with the highest vote is used to continue the story and hopefully make both women capture The Trapper. Knowledge is Power is a trivia game with 5,000 questions where you can use special powers to try and prevent opponents from answering questions. SingStar Celebration is a karaoke game with 30 songs included and more available to purchase.
Frantics will appear on March 13, 2018. This is a minigame collection where each player picks a different animal and attempts to beat their opponents in 15 different activities. The twist here is, a Fox will deliver secret messages to specific players from time to time, encouraging them to complete certain special objectives or target other players.
That’s You is immediately available for the PlayStation 4.
