PlayStation 4 Slim Launches September 15, 2016

The PlayStation 4 Slim was officially announced at the 2016 PlayStation Meeting. Andrew House, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, revealed it will be appearing in stores in most regions on September 15, 2016. It will be $299/£259/€299/¥29,980.

 

PlayStation 4 Slim will be the standard model, going forward. It will be a slimmer, smaller, more energy efficient version of the console. It also features a redesigned DualShock 4 controller with a light bar that can be seen on the front.
