PlayStation 4 Surpasses 50 Million Units In Worldwide Sales



Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that the PlayStation 4 has cumulatively sold more than 50 million units worldwide as of December 6, 2016.


In addition to having the best ever Black Friday week in the history of PlayStation, the press release states that the vast array of software titles from 3rd party developers and publishers as well as from SIE Worldwide studios, PS4 software sales are also going strong with more than 369.6 million copies sold in retail stores globally and through the PlayStation Store as of December 4, 2016.
