PlayStation Plus Price Hike Announced For Europe, Goes Into Effect On August 31

Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe announced that it is increasing the price of PlayStation plus subscriptions in Europe starting August 31, 2017.   Hereā€™s the before and after prices for PlayStation Plus subscriptions in Europe:

  • 3 Months – Ā£14.99/ā‚¬19.99 to Ā£19.99/ā‚¬24.99
  • 1 Year – Ā£39.99/ā‚¬49.99 to Ā£49.99/ā‚¬59.99

  The price of the PlayStation Plus membership will be altered on August 31 at 00:01 BST. Existing members will see the new prices for any recurring subscription after August 31, 2017. Keep in mind that you can still purchase PS Plus subscriptions at the current price and it will be added (or “stacked on”) Ā to your current membership period.   Sony hasnā€™t said anything about price changes in other regions, but weā€™ll keep an eye out for further announcement.
