With the PlayStation Portal, that price only covers the cost of the PS5 remote play device. It doesn’t include any additional peripherals. This gets people a device with an 8” LCD screen. Sony confirmed it is a 1080p handheld that is capable of 60fps on supported games. It also reminded people it will use WiFi to remote play games from your PS5 that either you own. However, it will not play PlayStation Plus Premium streaming games. It also doesn’t work with PSVR or PSVR 2 games.

There’s a teaser trailer for both Sony’s new headset and earbuds. Both of them use AI to reduce background noises. These will work with the console and handheld, as well as PCs and Bluetooth devices. The Pulse Explore lets people answer calls while using them with a device like a PlayStation Portal. The Pulse Elite has a charging hanger, while the Pulse Explore includes a charging case.

The PlayStation Portal PS5 remote play device, formerly known as Project Q, will appear in 2023. The Pulse Explore earbuds and Pulse Elite headset are also on the way.
