PlayStation Store Finally Reopens In Japan On July 6

imageWhile most of the world has had full access to the PlayStation Network, Japan is still missing the PlayStation Store and access to a bunch of Disgaea 4 downloadable content.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced that Japan’s PlayStation Store will reopen on July 6. People with PSN accounts registered in Japan will be able to purchase games, redeem PlayStation Network vouchers, and stream content using Qriocity’s video on demand service.

While the Welcome Back promotion is over for North America, Sony has a similar promotion in Japan. Users can redeem digital tokens for one free month of PlayStation Plus, 30 days of ToroStation and up to four games.
