Sony Computer Entertainment Japan sent out a rough schedule of this month’s PlayStation Network offerings. Today, three new PsOne games join the PlayStation Archives.
One of them is an extremely bizarre entry in the already offbeat Cho Aniki series. The image you’re looking at is an actual picture from Cho Aniki: Kyukyoku Muteki Ginga Saikyou Otoko (that’s Cho Aniki: Ultimate, Unrivaled, Strongest Man in the Galaxy). In this game you shoot digital images of bald men. You can’t get much stranger than that. Neo Atlas II and Yamsa Digi Guide Umekagetsu R, a pachislot simulator, are this weeks other PsOne games.
Highlighted for release later this month is Gomibako, a Tetris-like game where you stack garbage. Useful items like a flaming sword burn combustible trash so you have more room for other trash. The quirky title is scheduled to come out this month in Japan for the price of 1,500 yen ($15). A North American version has not been announced, but Gomibako made another appearance at the Asia Game Show under the name Trash Box. Sony Computer Entertainment Asia said it would be translated into English too so there is a chance of it heading overseas.
