PlayStation Store Spring Sale Discounts Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Death Stranding

Spring has sprung in the northern hemisphere (as evidenced by the falling cherry blossom petals in Animal Crossing: New Horizons), which means it’s time for the PlayStation Store Spring Sale. Sony is taking an axe to prices across the board for PlayStation 4 games, as well as a select lineup of movies.

The discounts in the Spring Sale are numerous and cover some recent hits, most notably lopping 30% off the base price of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Developed by Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm developer CyberConnect2, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a cinematic action game that follows the core story of Dragon Ball Z. The game is set to receive an update adding content from subsequent storylines, including Super Saiyan God.

Another notable deal is on Death Stranding, which is half-off for the PlayStation Store Spring Sale. Helmed by legendary developer Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding follows the exploits of Sam “Porter” Bridges. Sam delivers packages to connect disparate, isolated clusters of humanity to keep survivors supplied and connected to each other. Truly a hero for the current season, all things considered. The game will also soon receive a photo mode and a PC release.

You can check out the full list on the PlayStation Blog. Sony says the list will be updated on April 15, 2020 with new deals for the latter half of the promotion. In the meantime, we’ve listed a few other notable offers below:
