Magica Wars Zanbatsu makers Galat announced their next game as Venus Project, an upcoming free-to-play RPG for the PlayStation Vita. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine provides more details. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

In Venus Project, you’ll have three different idols, whom you’ll raise. They’ll take part in battles against other idols, as you aim to take them along their path to becoming the top idols.

The game features support characters and items that can be equipped, along with “Idol Power” that you can strengthen to have an advantage in battles.

Venus Project will release for the PlayStation Vita in Japan sometime in the latter half of April, and will be free-to-play with micro-transactions.
