Pokemon Cafe Mix Android and iOS Versions Open Their Doors

When Pokemon Cafe Mix was first announced during the initial June Pokemon Presents, it only had an “available soon” sort of release date. Then, the eShop listing noted it would appear on the Nintendo Switch on June 23, 2020. Now, people can find the Pokemon Cafe Mix Android and iOS versions on both Google Play and the App Store too. In addition, a Grand Opening Celebration login event is in effect on every platform.

Here’s how the Pokemon Cafe Mix login event works. There is a ten day event in effect. While the most common rewards are acorns, the in-game currency, or items to help you clear stages, you can hire Pikachu if you log into the game five times during the event. If you come by for ten days, you get a Tasty Tart. (Full disclosure: I have no idea what a Tasty Tart is or does.)

The first Pokemon Cafe Mix special character recruitment event was also announced. Pokemon Sword and Shield’s Scorbunny will be visiting the cafe between July 1-15, 2020. If you serve it an unspecified number of times, you will have the option to hire it.

The Pokemon Cafe Mix Android, iOS, and Switch versions are all available. They are free-to-play, though people can spend real money on things like acorn packs, item packs, and Pokemon Party Packs.
