Pokemon Legends Arceus Will Release Worldwide in January 2022

The official Pokemon Twitter account revealed when consumers can expect to get their hands on Pokemon Legends Arceus. Initially, the release window scheduled by Nintendo fell sometime in 2022. However, the exact release date for Pokemon Legends Arceus is January 28, 2022. Nintendo also revealed the cover art for the game. Pre-orders for Pokemon Legends Arceus are now available as well.

Additionally, an official website opened ahead of the release of the title. The website itself provides a brief synopsis of the story and various gameplay features that will be present. Pokemon Legends Arceus will deviate somewhat from the traditional formula of the Pokemon games. Players can engage in open world battles with wild Pokemon. Another feature is stealth, which will allow players to sneak up on Pokemon to catch them while traversing this more feudal take on the Sinnoh region.

The three starter Pokemon players can choose from are Oshawott, Cyndaquil, and Rowlette. The announcement trailer for Pokemon Legends Arceus revealed the inclusion of these three returning starters.
