This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

While the Pokemon Journeys ended when the final batch of episodes were added to Netflix in March 2021, it isn’t really the end. The Pokemon Company International announced Pokemon Master Journeys will show up in Summer 2021. It will continue directly from where the 23rd season left off and continue to follow Ash and Goh.

There were a few details about where Pokemon Master Journeys’ story could go. To be specific, Ash still wants to be a master. Chloe is still on her way to becoming a trainer. However, exact details about what could happen were still left unsaid.

This is the second recent supplemental Pokemon announcement. It is also the second one heavily drawing from Pokemon Sword and Shield. Viz Media announced it will release the first Pokemon Sword and Shield manga in August 2021. That one has an original story based on the events of the game. It follows Casey and Henry, who are based on the male and female avatars, as they pursue their own goals in Galar.

Pokemon Master Journeys will be available in English in Summer 2021. A platform for the episodes weren’t announced yet. However, the past Pokemon Journey episodes were a Netflix exclusive when they launched.
