Pokémon Red, Blue, And Yellow Support The Pokemon Bank

During today’s six minute Nintendo Direct, Nintendo had an update concerning Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. All three of the Virtual Console releases will support the Pokémon Bank.

Nintendo’s Pokémon Bank is an online Pokémon storage system that relies on the cloud. People playing Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Red, Blue, or Yellow can connect to the service to save their Pokémon and transfer them between games. There is a yearly $4.99 fee to use the Pokémon Bank.

Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow will come to the Nintendo 3DS on February 27, 2016.
