There’s a new update on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sales figures. Following its Financial Results Explanatory Material Fiscal Year Ended March 2023 release, Nintendo updated its Top Selling Title Sales Units. The two newest Pokemon installments are now at 22.10 million copies sold.
This falls in line with its sales milestones so far. In its first three days after launch, Nintendo told us the sales figures for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet hit 10 million. Its last financial report from February 2023 also noted that the two newest games passed 20 million in sales in 2022.
In the meantime, those Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sales figures could rise after future updates. A Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion pass is on the way. This will consist of two updates called The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disc. Each one adds new areas, experiences, and Pokemon. The Teal Mask will arrive first in Fall 2023 and include Pokemon new to the series.
We also got an update on Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the other Pokemon game released in 2022. It is now officially at 14.83 million copies sold worldwide.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch, and its Teal Mask DLC will debut in Fall 2023.
