The first June 2020 Pokemon Presents game has been announced, and it is something people might not have expected. Rather than a traditional game, it is more of a lifestyle app for children called Pokemon Smile. The app is opened on a smartphone and kept next to a person when they brush their teeth to monitor their progress.

As someone brushes while facing the phone, they might have chances to catch characters like Pikachu, Charmander, and Bulbasaur in Pokemon Smile. The goal is to help people develop good hygiene while catching stylized characters.

Here’s a Pokemon Smile trailer showing exactly how the augmented reality app will work to help people learn to properly brush their teeth every day. You can also see a number of Pokemon in the new art style during the segment and get a better idea of what people can do when they aren’t using the program while brushing.

Pokemon Smile will be immediately available for Android and Apple iOS devices today, via both Google Play and the App Store.
