Among the Pokémon announcements made during the Pokémon Direct was the reveal of an updated version of Pokémon Sun and Moon by GameFreak’s Junichi Masuda. They will launch worldwide on November 17, 2017.

While few details were offered, we do know a handful of things about these new Nintendo 3DS entries in the series. They will feature an alternate storyline. New Pokémon will appear, with both Solgaleo and Lunala looking quite different in the first trailer. It also looks like there are more clothing options for trainers and a new location with a Pikachu trailer.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS.
