Nintendo announced today the North American and European release dates for Pokkén Tournament, the Pokémon fighting game. It will arrive on the Nintendo Wii U on March 18. This is the exact same day the game will release in Japan, resulting in a worldwide, simultaneous release date.

This isn’t too unexpected. Pokkén Tournament is hardly the first Pokémon game to be released everywhere at once. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby had a worldwide November 21, 2014 release date, and Pokemon X and Y were released in every region on October 12, 2013. It would have been more unusual if Pokkén Tournament hadn’t appeared everywhere on March 18.

Pokkén Tournament will be $59.99. In addition, Nintendo has confirmed a launch copy promotion. All first-run editions of the Nintendo Wii U game will come with the Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, which adds him as a playable character.

This news comes after the latest Pokkén Tournament fighter announcement. Chandelure, a Ghost and Fire type Pokémon, was revealed as the latest addition to the roster.
