Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon’s latest trailer gives us another look at the game, including a look at what else is new with the “Lapis” items that can be used to power up your moves.
The video starts out with another look at the introduction, and how you’ll wake up as a Pokémon in a world full of other Pokémon that you’ll become friends with. Next, we get a look at some of the dungeons that will be explored.
The battles are in simple roguelike-style as past titles of the series, where you’ll get to choose out of four different moves and will need to keep enemy strengths and weaknesses in mind. Your attacks upgrade over time as you use them, and you’ll learn more through leveling up.
The dungeons are filled with all kinds of Pokémon, but also different traps and powerful bosses; however, there are also various items that can help you out. Some will help you see treasures, others can warp or sleep enemies. A new item called “Lapis” adds different effects such as boosted strength or additional effects such as sleep to your attacks.
At the 3:05 mark of the video, they show us some of its 720 Pokémon, including some that can even Mega Evolve. You’ll make new friends by helping them out in quests, including Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon will release in North America on November 20th for Nintendo 3DS.
