Pop ‘n Music Popping Up In North America?

Konami registered a trademark for Pop ‘n Music in the USPTO. Interestingly, the trademark is not registered for use with arcade machines like Jukubeat which was also filed recently. That pretty much rules out an arcade release and a late protective trademark. What could Konami use this for? A console version of Pop ‘n Music? An iPhone version of Pop ‘n Music? Possibly. The trademark says it can be applied to “downloadable game programs for cellular phones”.
