Pop’n Music Returns as Pop’n Music Lively With a Limited Time PC Beta

Pop’n Music has returned as Pop’n Music Lively with a limited time PC beta. A new website has appeared, promoting this PC experience for rhythm game players. In order to participate in the beta, those interested will need a Konami ID. While the website does mention that this PC beta will only be available for a limited time, no end date has been specified.

Pop’n Music Lively will feature five songs as part of the limited time PC beta. This includes:

  • Haisui no Jin – Hideo Suwa
  • Kurokami Midareshi Shura to Narite – Qualia Murasama
  • Renai Kansoku – NU-KO
  • Perverse Heart ~Ama no Jaku~ – EGOISTIC LEMONTEA
  • Omedetou! Otanjoubi – Witches

No further information has been disclosed. However, Konami does mention on the official page that the beta may change occasionally. Again, there is no specifications as to when this will happen. The FAQ on the website mentions that smartphones and tablets will not be supported. Additionally, you will not be able to transfer your save data from any arcade versions of Pop’n Music the PC version of Lively.

Pop’n Music has been available on other systems. This includes the PlayStation Portable. Pop’n Music 2 arrived on the PlayStation Portable in 2011.

Pop’n Music Lively is currently available for PC as a limited time beta for Japanese audiences.
