Popular Manga Series Log Horizon Is Becoming A Mobile RPG

Japanese game publisher GREE is turning popular novel, manga, and anime series Log Horizon into a mobile RPG to be released on iOS and Android in winter 2015 (via Serkantoto).

It will have the same setting and characters as the main series but will also include new characters and storylines written specifically for the game.

All else that is known about the game is that it will focus on battles and will contain social elements. Looking at the screenshot above, it seems that it will involve party-based battling and levelling up, with each hero being tied to a specific class and set of abilities that determine their role in the battles.
