Portable Guilty Gear XX Accent Core plus new modes

This probably will be “old” news for most readers, but Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is being ported to the PSP. Famitsu scans revealed the project. Arc System Works didn’t. They still haven’t and it comes out on July 31.

Regardless of a non-existent marketing budget Arc System Works is polishing the port with new features. The highlight is a three on three team battle mode, which sounds similar to the Heroes mode in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes series. Players pick three characters and fight through a tournament. Ad hoc play is being implemented for player vs. player matches too, but there isn’t any information regarding game sharing. Actually, there isn’t any information if the extra content from the PS2 game will be in the PSP port either. The game will probably include the mission mode, new story mode, and Justice found in Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus (note: Japan got two versions of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, a buggy first release and an expanded Plus version.), but it would be nice if Arc System Works confirmed this as fact.
