Big Bad Toy Store opened pre-orders for a new Ada Wong action figure based on her appearance in Resident Evil 2 Remake. Created by figure makers Nauts and Damtoys, the figure costs nearly $360 USD to reserve. It is posable, includes premium accessories, and is quite large at 1/6 scale. [Thanks, Wario64!]
The Nauts and Damtoys Ada Wong figure stands about 11.81 inches tall (about 30cm), and is designed at 1/6th scale. Part of the companies’ Collectible Figure series, the figure blends the appeal of a static pose statuette with the versatility of a fully articulated action figure. The Ada Wong figure is constructed with over 30 moveable joints to allow for a wide range of poses. However, unlike less premium action figure lines, the joints are “seamless” and hidden from view. This makes the figure look more lifelike and avoid the “doll joints” issue of most action figures.
The Resident Evil 2 Remake Ada Wong figure also comes with a range of accessories and wearable clothing. The selection will allow owners to recreate her looks from the game. In Resident Evil 2 Remake, Ada was seen wearing the coat, gloves, shades, and scarf by default. However, selecting the “Alternative Outfits” option in-game dresses the characters in getups resembling their looks from the original game. In Ada’s case, she wears a red cocktail dress, high heels, and pistol harness. Parts are included to cover both ensembles. She also comes with a pistol, FBI ID badge, a typewriter with ink ribbon, a box of ammo, and the EMF visualizer tool used to solve her puzzles.
The Nauts and Damtoys Ada Wong figure is available for pre-order, with a shipping window of the second quarter of 2023. The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also available as a cloud version on the Nintendo Switch.
