Presidents in gaming: Socks the Cat edition

Today is President’s Day in the USA and I was looking for some kind of game where you play as Lincoln or Nixon, but it doesn’t look like any company designed a platformer starring a president. Kaneko, who created DJ Boy, made a video game based off of Socks, Bill Clinton’s cat. The back of the box has this description of the game:

"While Socks, the White House cat, sleeps peacefully in a bag that contains a portable missile launch Unit (his favorite napping spot), foreign spies steal the bag! He quickly realizes that he must return to the White House and alert the first family in order to avoid mass destruction. But, the spy ring has their own political agenda. They want to see Socks run – and not for political office! The chase begins. Socks must overcome the likes of foreign spies, enemy animal agents, politicians, secret service agents, and the ever-present media corps. To keep the party alive, Socks pounces, tumbles, and negotiates his way out of the intricate secret passages and puzzles of Washington."

Even though the game was completed it was never released, Kaneko closed up their US offices and Socks was lost forever. All is left is an ad and a blurb on SNES central.
