The unnamed game is a 2.5D game with a theater aesthetic. In the short teaser Nintendo showed, Peach appears to have magical powers and can change the scenery to open new paths. Nintendo have stated that more details will be revealed at a later date.

This is not the first time Princess Peach has been given a starring role in a game. Super Princess Peach was released for the DS in 2005 in Japan and 2006 in the West.

The unnamed Princess Peach game will be released for Nintendo Switch.
