Prism Project Vtuber Lana Shikami Will Graduate

Sony Music Japan Prism Project Vtuber Lana Shikami announced she will graduate. This comes after the company and performer announced a hiatus on August 5, 2023. She noted that the decision is a result of her continuing health reasons. She also issued a final message to fans about the situation and confirmed there will be no graduation stream due to her health. Prism Project will issue an additional statement to go over the state of her account and other details at a later date.

Here is the official Lana Shikami graduation announcement. She noted, “I did not expect the knock-on effect of my medical issues to be this ongoing, but I need to put my health above everything else and after thinking it over and discussing it with the Prism Project staff, I came to the decision that it would just be too difficult to continue as I am now.” She also thanked people for their support.

She first debuted back on April 29, 2023 alongside Ami Amami and Tsubame Kou. She was known for both playing games on stream and holding ASMR ones. This means she was only active for almost four months before needing to retire so she can recover properly.
