Prison Princess Will Serve Its Sentence on Steam

A Prison Princess PC port is about to appear. The escape room simulation will task people with getting Princess Aria of Aria Zaza and Princess Zena of Zanji Zard out of the Demon King’s palace after being captured. However the who, which is the player, died when attempting to stop the Demon King’s initial assault, so now his ghost is trying to get the two women out of the castle.

Like the Nintendo Switch version, Prison Princess PC involves the player pointing and clicking their way through different rooms that hold puzzles of varying degrees of difficulty. Since you can’t physically solve them or acquire items, you direct the two heroines to do so in order to get them out safely.

So far, the PC version of the game doesn’t seem to have any special features. You can use the mouse or a controller to help get Aria and Zena to safety. Achievements have been added. It also is playable in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. However, only Japanese voice acting is available. (Mao Amatsuka voiced Aria and Fumiko Uchimura, who was Call in RedAsh Gearworld, is Zena.)

The Prison Princess PC version will launch on April 3, 2020. It is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch.
