Seven different idols, all from different walks of life, have come together to get some help from the player as a producer, hoping to make their way through the entertainment industry to find fame, fortune, and a little more in Shining Song Starnova.

The various idols all have different personalities and have faced challenges in trying to rise to the top already. Shimizaki Sasami may have a bubbly personality, but she’s already faced hardships after being taken advantage of by her last talent agency. Watanabe Julie was fired from her previous agency, but is looking to make a comeback through the player’s agency. Yamamoto Mariya got let go for being too old, and is wallowing in alcohol while moonlighting as a hostess when the player comes along.

Players will be helping the whole group in their rise to fame, but can follow various routes that will bring them closer to each of the potential stars, getting to know more about their troubled pasts and treasured dreams.
