Square Enix shifted Final Fantasy Agito XIII and The 3rd Birthday from mobile phones to PSP almost two years ago. Trailers for both games surfaced, but Square Enix hasn’t said much about them until now. Hajime Tabata, Producer of The 3rd Birthday and Final Fantasy Agito XIII, hopped on to Twitter to briefly talk about both games.
On The 3rd Birthday, Tabata said the game went into mass production in the beginning of the year. He praised the team working on it saying the elite group made a game that exceeded expectations. Hexadrive, the studio behind Rez HD, is co-developing The 3rd Birthday with Square Enix. According to Tabata, the game is in the middle of being finished. “I think we should have an opportunity to unveil it soon,” Tabata tweeted. E3 is right around the corner and that would be an “opportunity” for a North American debut.
Tabata brought a build of Final Fantasy Agito XIII to the marketing team in March. He says it was well received, but it will be a bit longer before Agito XIII is shown to the public.
