Project Scorpio Revealed As Xbox One X, Launches Worldwide On November 7

During the Microsoft Xbox E3 2017 press conference, the company revealed Project Scorpio as Xbox One X, an upgraded console with enhanced features, scheduled to launch November 7, 2017.

 

The Xbox One X, called the “world’s most powerful console” a 6 Teralflop GPU clocked at 1.172Ghz, 12GB of GDDR5 memory, and 327GB/s of memory bandwidth.

 

Its “True 4K” visuals feature 8+ million pixels, HDR, wide color gamut, Premium Dolby Atmos sound, 4K UHD Blu-ray playback. Additionally, it comes with a liquid cooling system, a first of its kind for video game consoles.

 

Backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 works right off the bat with all accessories and games being compatible from the beginning.

 

Xbox One X launches worldwide on November 7, 2017 for $499.
